Dr Theo Mofokeng
Dr Theo Mofokeng graduated with a MBChB from Medunsa in 2000. He has extensive experience in neurosurgery having worked various neurosurgical units across the country including; Dr George Mukhari Academic Hospital, CHBAH, Livingstone Hospital (PE). He is currently CMO and in charge of Leratong Hospital.
Dr Gugu Ndziba
Dr Gugu Ndziba graduated with a MBChB from University of Cape Town in 2014. She completed her internship at CHBAH. She spent her commserve year in Klerksdorp as a MO in surgery. She the spent time in Gen Surgery at CMJAH. She joined the department in 2019. Interests: Neuro-oncology, skull base.
Dr Denver Naicker
Dr Denver Naicker graduated with a MBChB degree from University of Cape Town in 2015. He joined the department in May 2019. Interests: Vascular.
Dr Wickus Neethling
Dr Ashvur Rajkumar graduated with a MBBCh from Wits University in 2015. He initially joined the department as a comserve in Klerksdorp Hospital in 2018. He then moved to Livingstone Hospital in 2019 and worked there as a MO in the neurosurgery department. He rejoined the department in April 2020. Interests: Vascular, spines.
Dr Ashvur Rajkumar
Dr Ashvur Rajkumar graduated with a MBBCh from Wits University in 2015. He initially joined the department as a comserve in Klerksdorp Hospital in 2018. He then moved to Livingstone Hospital in 2019 and worked there as a MO in the neurosurgery department. He rejoined the department in April 2020. Interests: Vascular, spines.
Dr Timothy Haji-Joannou
Dr Timothy Haji-Joannou graduated in 2016 with a MBBCh from Wits University. He has recently joined the department. Interests: Neurocritical care, Paeds.
