The Campus Planning and Development Department of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, invites suitably qualified and experienced service providers and relevant market participants to provide information on Renewable Energy Wheeling Services.

Wits is exploring Renewable Energy Wheeling Services as an alternative means of procuring electricity for five University campus sites, comprising Braamfontein East Campus, Braamfontein West Campus and three campuses in Parktown.

The information obtained will assist the University in understanding the market and may inform the scope and structure of any potential future procurement.
