The Department of Neurosciences is a clinical department within the School of Clinical Medicine, comprising four specialist divisions:

The Department is led by Associate Professor Susan Williams, supported by Ms Junia Mthombeni.

The Department plays a central role in undergraduate medical education, registrar training and specialist development, and postgraduate research

Our Team

Our multidisciplinary team includes:

  • Specialist consultants and academic leaders across all divisions
  • Heads of Clinical Units at affiliated hospitals
  • Registrars (specialist trainees and postgraduate MMed students)
