Laura Pereira (BSc 2006, BSc Hons with distinction 2007) completed her MSc in Nature, Society and Environmental Policy at Oxford University in 2008, a highlight being the opportunity to travel to Colombia to undertake research for her dissertation, entitled Becoming Coca: a materiality approach to a commodity chain analysis of hoja de coca in Colombia. The research explored a commodity chain of legal products and uses for the coca plant in Colombia.
