Art provides a unique platform for having meaningful, connected conversations.
This innovative event is part of a formal exchange programme between Wits and the State University of New York (SUNY) at Oneonta students. You will participate in an expertly facilitated discussion with the students, and experience how artworks can be interpreted and understood in a myriad of ways. Participate in a conversation around art that might lead you to new ways of seeing the world and the opportunity to clarify our own thinking. Absolutely no background in art is required. The event takes place in the current exhibition of recent acquisitions to the WAM collection. Experience how artworks come alive when we share our interpretations with others.
