This lecture is hosted by the Centre for Sustainability in Mining and Industry, the GCSRI, and the Industrial and the Industrial and Mine Water Research Unit.
Dr Dirk-Jan Koch, Special Envoy Natural Resources of the Netherlands, will present this lecture.
The lecture will address pertinent water issues relevant to South Africa such as:
- Addressing significant water challenges;
- Strategic cooperation between the government, entrepreneurs and the water and mining platform to achieve effective water management within the industry; and
- Case studies of the Dutch integrated water-management programme in Africa.
