Selection process for Reg and Jnr Appointments

The selection process for new registrars and medical officers is through an inclusive process with representation from all units. The department’s executive meets monthly to discuss administrative issues, then we meet with a broader management structure to share decisions made and  address issues from representatives for registrars, consultants and the committees. The applicants are posted on a shared-file that is transparent and visible to everyone at all times. Transformation and equity is always considered when appointments are made and consensus is sought.
