SAMERDI Real-time Information Management Systems

  • The SAMERDI Real-time Information Management Systems (RTIMS) Research Centre aims to build capacity in digital intellectual capital through fundamental research into technical, technological, and strategic issues in pursuit of 4IR Technology readiness in the South African minerals sector. The focus is on enabling solutions, which will fit into an end-to-end Industrial Internet of Things (IoTs) architecture for mining.

  • The SAMERDI RTIMS Research Centre and the Sibanye Stillwater DigiMine team work collaboratively to bolster the outcomes for both Centres.
