The Teaching Business English course aims to provide pre-service and in-service teachers and trainers with the skills and knowledge required to teach Business English.

The course is online and runs for 5 weeks (40 hours).

Qualification

Participants who meet all minimum requirements for the course are awarded a certificate of competence. 

Programme Overview

Put your corporate background to good use with this specialisation course. Business English is a growing industry and covers many fields. This course will address what business English is, how to find suitable materials for your students and how to teach the various skills within a business context. The course consists of an online theoretical component, videoed teaching practice (for which you will need your own students) and assignments.

Entry Requirements

Please ensure you meet the following requirements when applying for the course: 

  • Minimum 18 Years                             
  • Matric Certificate                                 
  • A Recognised TESOL/TEFL/CELTA Certificate (120 hours) OR a PGCE/B.Ed
