Master of Science in Nursing (MSc Nursing) by dissertation
Candidates registering for this course are required to conduct a line of research under the guidance of a supervisor and submit a dissertation based on that research. This course is available to candidates who hold a Baccalaureate in Nursing.
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
A candidate reading for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy is required to engage in and complete an original research for at least two years under the guidance of a supervisor, and submit a thesis.
Any of the following may be admitted as a candidate for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy:
The holder of a Master's degree in Nursing - By special permission of the Senate, a graduate of any other university or by means of an assessment mode determined by the Senate. It is further a requirement that you must have published at least one research article in an accredited journal.
