About Us

History

The department of Paediatric and Restorative Dentistry has been in existence in the SOHS for the longest time. In the past few years, a decision was made to place the department in the speciality departments of Prosthodontics and Orthodontics. The divisions of Restorative Dentistry and Endodontics were put together with the department of Prosthodontics to form a bigger department called the Department of Oral Rehabilitation. The Paediatric division of the department was put together with Orthodontics to form a Department of Orthodontics and Paediatric Dentistry. In recent years, that decision was reversed which meant that the department would be a stand-alone department once again.
