Wits Sport will on 5 – 6 June host the 2019 leg of the Wits Sport Peak Performance Summit, its third such.
The 2019 Peak Performance Summit will be the first under the auspices of the newly formed WISH - Wits Institute for Sport and Health. The key note speaker on day 1 will be the 2017 World S & C coach of the Year, Ashley Jones (All Blacks, Crusaders, Scotland, Wallabies, West Samoa etc.) Day 2 will be started by Dr Jon Patricios (Sports Concussion SA, University of Washington, Seattle Sports Health and Safety Institute, World Rugby, SA Rugby).

The 15th Edition of the Annual WITS Ashraf Lodewyk Memorial Basketball Tournament is almost here!!!
Ashraf "Ashie" Lodewyk was a Wits Psychology student and Wits Basketball player who contributed to the game in many ways, he was awarded Student Administrator Award by the WITS Sports Council for all his hard work in the administration of the club whilst playing at the highest level provincially and nationally - his life is celebrated through this tournament which will see over 19 teams gather at hall 29 in true basketball spirit

Wits Sport has collaborated with Rob Yates to host a series of High Performance Coaching courses. We hope you will be able to join us and in the process and learn new valuable skill sets aimed at benefitting the development and performance of the talented people whom we are privileged to coach and mentor.
The Introduction to High-Performance Sports Coaching Programme has been purposefully designed to bring new, dynamic and immensely powerful coaching methodologies to South Africa. Highly practical in nature, this is not a theory-based programme that leaves coaches with some great ideas and little in the way of new demonstrable behaviours. In this programme coaches roll up their sleeves and execute theory into practice, while being mentored by one of our globally acclaimed Coach Educators.
