CALS is a human rights organisation based at the Wits School of Law. We use a combination of research, advocacy and litigation to advance social justice.

Our focus is innovative law and policy research, continuous professional development and capacity building, and creating a space for public policy engagement.

CLEAR-AA is part of a global initiative strengthening Anglophone African countries’ capacities in monitoring and evaluation and performance management.

This focused stakeholder engagement intends to stimulate an exchange of views around the public interest in standard-setting and narrow the expectation gap.
