Postgraduate Information: Applications

The Radiology staff of the hospitals are Government employed. Registrars and Consultants are jointly appointed to the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University.
Consultants are appointed as lecturers of variable seniority and teaching is done at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. All academic staff are expected to provide service, teach and participate in research.

APPLICATIONS must be sent directly to the Radiology Division at Health Sciences as well as to the GSSC (011) 488 3793.

The Radiology Division requirements for applications are : -

  1. Application Forms in Triplicate
  2. Updated CV
  3. 2 Closed References
  4. Letter from the HPC (SA) stating that your ?outside time? will be accepted by them for registration. Community service counts as outside time.
  5. Letter from College of Medicine SA stating that your ?outside time? will be accepted by them for the purpose of writing exams.
  6. Copy of HPC(SA) Registration.
  7. Copy of Identity Document
  8. Copy of 6th year Medical School Results
  9. Proof of computer literacy

The GSSC requirements are : -

  1. Application
  2. Updated CV
  3. Copy of ID document
