Division of Medical Oncology

The Division of Medical Oncology was established as a subspeciality of the Department of Medicine to provide a comprehensive service to patients with solid and haematological malignancies.

The Division of Medical Oncology was established at CMJAH with a satellite unit being opened at CHBAH in 2021.  The division is accredited with the HPCSA as a training unit, providing training for subspecialty fellows in Medical Oncology and also providing teaching for postgraduate Registrars and Medical Officers rotating through the Division. The consultants and Fellows all take part in undergraduate teaching to increase awareness and knowledge about Medical Oncology.
