Welcome to the Department of Internal Medicing at KT

The Department of Internal Medicine strives to provide exceptional care for all patients under our care. Academic development, clinical and the development of doctors willingly to strive for excellence

We have 12 Consultants (3 on a sessional level), 10 Registrars (4 full rotation, 4 on yearly rotation and 2 on 3 monthly rotation), 14 CSD/MO (including covid contractors) , and 14 first year interns. We also host and train GEMP III medical students.

For this block we have 3 Interns for wards 10 & 4 with 2 in other wards

Training and teaching occur at bedside, weekly registrar talks, Xray meetings  and weekly intern presentations.
