Administrator vacancy

CALS is looking for a dynamic administrator to work in our Facilitation Office as an administrator.        

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

  • Grade 12
  • An interest in human rights work and social justice
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Verbal proficiency in at least one other South African language will be an advantage
  • Computer literacy

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing the diaries of the Director and Deputy Director
  • Providing other ad hoc support to the Director and Deputy Director
  • Reception and switchboard duties such as receiving clients and visitors, handling incoming and outgoing mail
  • Collecting and delivering documents within the University
  • Assisting with general office duties and overflow of administrative work
