The appointment of Dean Dr. Nqosa Mahao brings a refocus and renewed energy to the faculty’s strong tradition of training of business professionals and its aim to advance governance, justice and economic development by developing and increasing the knowledge and skills of its students. 

THE AFRICAN ECONOMIC RESEARCH CONSORTIUM
Eight African universities, one of which is WITS, fund a doctoral programme where students can conduct their research and study across a number of universities-with the Phd. qualification being granted by one of the universities in full recognition of the studies conducted in the other universities in the consortium.

Represented by their art, you will experience tapestry, photography, sculpture, paintings, beadwork and a range of art forms that has been invested to enrich the mind and experience of every student and any body who spends time on the West Campus. This valuable collection of art includes not only well reputed South African artists and works by WITS alumni but also works by WITS art students selected from their final year exhibitions.
