The Cold Spray Conversation

A conversation starter, networking event, and showcase of the latest developments in the field of Cold Gas Spray Technology at Wits University.

Wits University, in collaboration with the Thermal Spray Association of Southern Africa (TSASA) and Centerline SST, hosted a cold spray open day. Industry links were forged, and novel ideas were discussed for actionable, local application.

Students and researchers showcased the latest developments and research in cold gas spray. The event saw the participation of a range of expert research and industry guest speakers, with the highly anticipated keynote address presented by world renowned cold spray expert, Dr Julio Villafuerte from Centerline. A live cold spray demonstration was presented.
