Wits University, in collaboration with the Thermal Spray Association of Southern Africa (TSASA) and Centerline SST, are hosting a cold spray open day. It is our hope that industry links may be forged, and novel ideas discussed for actionable, local application.
Students and researchers will be showcasing the latest developments and research in cold gas spray. Come and listen to a range of expert research and industry guest speakers, and the highly anticipated keynote address by world renowned cold spray expert, Dr Julio Villafuerte from Centerline. We will also be offering special, live, cold spray demonstrations where you can see the technology in action. Be a part of the new era of manufacturing as we re-establish this laboratory as the key university-industry linked cold spray research hub in South Africa.
