Sample Preparation and Mineral Separation Facility

The School of Geosciences hosts a newly revamped sample preparation facility that specialises in the making of various geological thin/thick sections, as well as producing quality ore blocks and grain mounts for EPMA and LA-ICPMS/ SIMS. 

The sample preparation team are also well versed in crushing, milling and mineral separation.
