These whisperings or non-responsiveness of students may be perceived as a distraction. One could however encourage these whisperings and draw on students to engage interactively by creating a safe and collaborative learning environment. Depending on your teaching approach, this could be done by the creative use of tools such as chat, discussion forums, emoticons, or voice participation. This workshop focuses on how we can use various educational technologies to meaningfully enhance student engagement in both synchronous and asynchronous learning and teaching environments.Date: 19 July 2022
