This film looks at the political, social, and cultural conditions that shaped the 1976 uprising, how those ideas were transformed into liberatory action, and how those actions helped shape the democratic society we live in today. The filmmaker will be in conversation with the Jazz artist Malcom Jiyane who together with Nonku Phiri, Ariel Zamonsky, and Gontse Makhene made an original motion picture soundtrack for this film.
