YEOVILLE STUDIO ON THE CITY

Yeoville Studio actively participated in the bi-annual Southern African City Studies conference, in September 2011 in Cape Town, with four presentations based on the Studio included in the programme. From their research on Yeoville, Sophie Didier reflected on urban memory, PHD candidate Obvious Katsaura presented his work on community governance, Masters student Eulenda Mkwanazi presented the results of her Honours research report on spaces of participation, and Claire Bénit-Gbaffou reflected on the politics of engaged research.
