The Master of Commerce degree programme in the field of Financial Technology equips students with an understanding of both financial principles and emerging technologies, fostering the development of skills essential for navigating the complex landscape of Financial Technology. By integrating finance and technology, the programme seeks to produce professionals capable of driving innovation, managing risks associated with technological advancements, and contributing to the development of ethical and compliant financial solutions.

  • FinTech and Liberty Group partnership

    The Hub has partnered with Liberty Group Ltd to collaborate on fintech initiatives, including the establishment of an Incubator Hub. This space enables participants to tackle practical challenges, encouraging an entrepreneurial mindset and supporting the development of solutions with tangible commercial and social impact.

  • FirstRand Foundation Chair

    The Hub, in collaboration with the School of Economics and Finance, host a Professorial Chair Position in Financial Data Science, funded by the FirstRand Foundation, contributing to leading scholarship in Financial Data Science.
