Strengthening Wits Role in Partnerships for African Development and Regional Collaboration
Dr Samia Chasi represented the University of the Witwatersrand in a high-level meeting with Symerre Grey-Johnson, Director of Human Capital & Institutional Development at AUDA-NEPAD, on 12 September to explore potential collaboration with the South Africa–Sweden University Forum (SASUF).
The meeting focused on strengthening Wits’ contribution to academic partnerships that advance African development and international cooperation. Representatives from the University of Johannesburg and the University of Pretoria also attended, underscoring a shared commitment to regional collaboration.
