Hours

Our electronic digital materials are available 24/7 to registered students and staff in accordance with our license agreements with our respective service providers.
During the week our libraries are staffed by student assistants from 17:00 to close of service in addition to services offered over the weekend, during these periods we are only able to offer basic help and assistance.
Limited services are available in all libraries (with the exception of the GeoMaths and Wits Health Sciences Libraries) on Wednesday mornings from 08:00 – 09:00, to allow for staff training and administrative functions.
Access to our Historical Papers digital collections is also available 24 hours daily, this is not restricted to the university community only.
All Libraries are closed on public holidays.
