Surgery

The Department of Surgery has seen remarkable growth in recent years, with over 7 hospital departments across Gauteng and over 10 academic divisions from Pediatric Surgery and Trauma to Endocrine and Breast Surgery. The department is ever-growing with an annual increase in PhD and Postdoctoral Fellows which will lead to the next generation of Wits Surgery.
