Wits University will officially mark Mandela Day on 25 July when our students are back from the winter break.
Our mission is to turn the Great Hall Piazza into a sea of generosity - one can at a time. Donations of canned food can be delivered at the Piazza from 09:00 onwards. Your generosity will contribute to efforts by the Wits Food Banks and help to combat food insecurity on campus. This appeal for support and solidarity is for all staff and students, and extended to the public and friends of the University.
