The conference encourage debate into the political and epistemological implications of artistic research in Africa.
The Wits School of Arts through its Arts Research Africa project invites you to join the 2nd International Conference on Artistic Research in Africa, 14 - 16 September 2022. The 2nd Conference asks the question “How has artistic research transformed and advanced pedagogy and artistic practice in Africa?”
The first two days will be hosted online and the last day will be hosted as a physical event at the Wits Sport Centre. On the final conference day, attendees can look forward to a closing social/networking event with a jazz performance by the Cosmopolitan Collective.
