We are excited that Professor Noor Nieftagodien will kick off this seminar series. He will addressing the question of how the University can engage with its city, Johannesburg, with a special focus on poor and marginalised communities and organisation.  We encourage the attendance of the University community ad its multiple publics as we aim to engage in debates on how community and university relations can be strengthened in the context of the global polycrisis.
