The long term alteration of earth's energy balance has far reaching consequences for the current and future sustainability of the planet. A recent UN report states that the climate is changing at an unprecedented rate. These and other statistics show that environmental issues will soon become the greatest challenge to basic human rights and survival by creating structural inequalities.
