Voices from Our Student

Over the years, the Southern Centre for Inequality Studies (SCIS) has welcomed numerous students into its Master of Commerce in Inequality Studies program. Some have successfully completed the programme and are now applying their knowledge in research, policy, and practice, while others are currently navigating this rigorous and transformative journey. Our students come from diverse backgrounds and bring a wide range of perspectives to the study of inequality in the global South. They consistently highlight how the programme challenges their thinking, deepens their understanding of complex social and economic issues, and equips them with the tools to influence change.

Here’s what our students have to say about their experience with the MCom in Inequality Studies at SCIS
