Please join Dr Derly Yohanna Sanchez (Universidad del Rosario), Dr Gayatri Nair (Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology), Dr Sai Amulya Komarraju (Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad), Lucas Santos (Universidade Federal Fluminense) and Dr Uma Rani (International Labour Organization) in discussion:

  • What are the implications of digitization for the labour process?
  • How is algorithmic management reshaping the conditions of work?
  • How has gender, race, and nationality mediated changes in the conditions of work?

The Future of Work(ers) research project is jointly funded by IDRC and the Ford Foundation. It explores how digital technologies are reshaping the world of work(ers) and the implications for inequality in the global South.

This is the second in a series of dialogues by SCIS & FES. The policy dialogue series will take place over the course of the academic calendar on the third Tuesday of the month from 3:30  to 5:00 pm, SAST.
