Call to Audition: The Story I am About to Tell

The scheduled production of The Story I am about to Tell has, due to unforeseen circumstances, had to be cancelled. Wits Theatre and Mehlo-Maya apologise for any inconvenience that may have been caused.
Wits Theatre announces open auditions on Thursday 22 and Friday 23rdJanuary 2015 for its March 2015 production of “The Story I am About to Tell” to be presented in association with mehlo-maya (eye-to-the-sun).
Auditions will take place at the Nunnery opposite Wits Theatre on East Campus Wits University, Station Street entrance, Braamfontein.
Actors may audition on either date, and can collect Audition Packages any time from 14 January between 9am and 4.30 pm at the Performing Arts Administration (PAA), (next to Wits Theatre).
The show will rehearse and be staged between 18 February and 29 March 2015.
‘The Story I am About to Tell’, the highly acclaimed and well-travelled docu-drama about the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC), was originally produced and staged by mehlo-maya (eye-to-the-sun), and ran from 1997 – 2001.
