EIE Virtual Open Day 2020

The School of Electrical and Information Engineering (EIE) recently held its Open Day online for the first time.
The annual event showcases capstone projects completed by final year students in electrical engineering and information engineering. The aim is to develop engineering innovations for solutions to everyday challenges.
This year students presented their projects via videos for a Virtual Open Day. The projects cover a range of topics in 57 short 3-minute videos.
Professor Estelle Trengove, Head of School, says the projects are identified by academic staff and students, and each pair of students then work together to find a solution to a unique complex engineering problem.
