“We're reaching new levels in cultural expression, professional achievement, and personal freedom as we unlock these levels that we couldn’t begin to imagine before, like general artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and inner fulfilment. It's all just a matter of ‘until’,” says Fak’ugesi’s Festival Director Eduardo Cachucho.

About Fak’ugesi

Founded in 2014 as a collaboration between Wits University's Tshimologong Digital Innovation Precinct and the Wits School of ArtsDigital Arts Department, the festival takes as its starting point the idea that for innovation with technology to succeed, a strong connection needs to be made between African cultural practices and creative encounters.
