ANC faces third threat

The ANC faces its third most serious threat and its members are at the core of the conflict.
Former president Thabo Mbeki weighed in on the challenges facing the African National Congress (ANC) during the OR Tambo Centenary Memorial Lecture held at Wits University on 27 October 2017.
The lecture marked the 100th birthday of Tambo‚ a revered struggle stalwart and the longest-serving president of the ANC who died in 1993.
Mbeki’s address focused on the strategic and historic challenges which have threatened the ANC during the 105 years of its existence.
