Leadership for the institutionalisation of climate change considerations in South African cities.  

Building on leadership and institutional change theories, my research seeks to better understand the leadership traits and strategies that can effectively embed climate change considerations within city decision making processes and governance systems. Through my research I explore the unique socio-economic and political context of South African cities and the implications this has for climate leadership and governance.
