Panel Discussion: Lessons from the Just Transition Consortium for Research Employment and Work

the Southern Centre for Inequality Studies (SCIS) warmly invites you to a panel discussion on work and employment in South Africa's just transition.

Presenting the findings and lessons from a three-year research project by researchers at the University of the Witwatersrand and Rhodes University, the panellists will explore the issue of work in the transition and its distributional outcomes, taking a holistic approach to thinking about the future labour force, skills, and social protection. Our panellists include Ruth Castel-Branco (SCIS), Presha Ramsarup (REAL), Mike Rogan (Rhodes) and Lebogang Mulaisi (Presidential Climate Commission).
