Join on Saturday 8 February 2025 at 11:30 for the first walkabout of ‘Paper’ with curator David Paton.
The exhibition features books in which paper plays the starring role, such as books about the craft of papermaking, techniques such as paper cutting, folding, marbling, pulp-painting and watermarking, and books with extraordinary and unusual papers as part of their content. Of particular interest are the recent hand-paper portfolio on the theme of 30 Years of Democracy and the 8.5m-long scroll Three Gorges Dam Migration by contemporary Chinese artist Ji Yun-Fei.
Limited on-street parking is available, but we encourage using ride-hailing systems for convenience.
Entrance is free.
