Mental Health: A Human Rights Imperative

The Steve Biko Centre for Bioethics will host the Annual Steve Biko Bioethics Lecture.

Professor Ingrid Daniels is the Chief Executive Officer at Cape Mental Health. She served as the  President of the World Federation for Mental Health for a two year term (2019-2021). 

Daniels is an Honorary Professor at Bochum Protestant University of Applied Sciences in Germany as well as an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the Division of Intellectual Disability, Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health, University of Cape Town, South Africa.
