Make-a-Book with the Jack Ginsberg Centre for Book Art

Join the Wits Art Museum for a creative workshop where you will learn how to make a book using the Hungarian Map Fold.

The fold is a unique, sculptural book form crafted from a single sheet of paper. This clever folding technique creates a surprising effect: as you open the book, the paper unfolds to reveal the entire page in one dramatic motion! It’s simple, fun, and offers endless possibilities for creative expression. Please be aware that due to ongoing road upgrades, street parking availability is very limited. We encourage the use of e-hailing systems for your convenience. All ages are most welcome. All materials will be supplied. The workshop will take place in the WAM Café / Gallery Forecourt area.
