Bring the whole family to WAM this for a Free Family Make-and-Create Workshop!
Join experienced docents Pam and Elona for an interactive walkabout through Serge Alain Nitegeka’s exhibition Black Subjects. Come and uncover the stories behind the artworks and see how shapes and colours come alive. Then it's time to get hands-on in a fun art-making session. Using paper, glue, ice cream sticks and your favourite colours, you’ll build your own unique assemblage inspired by the exhibition’s themes.
It is a joyful, creative experience for the whole family — stick, colour, and make something amazing together! All ages are welcome, all materials are provided, and no booking or art experience is required.
Museum hours: Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00–16:00
Entrance is free, and all are welcome.
Free parking is available in the garage beneath the museum.
