The Wits School of Education will host the seventh African Regional Congress of ICMI on Mathematics Education (AFRICME 7)
The congress will feature leading African and international scholars in mathematics education, including Professor Jill Adler, Professor Kgethi Phakeng, Professor Mercy Kazima, and Professor Agida Manizade, who will share their influential research on mathematics education across the continent and beyond.
The programme includes research presentations, symposia, teacher workshops, and professional development opportunities, all aimed at enhancing mathematics teaching and learning. AFRICME 7 will be held in a hybrid format, making participation accessible to a wider audience. In-service teachers, postgraduate students, and academic colleagues are warmly invited to attend.
