Women Workers and Internationalism: A Perspective from India by Professor Archana Prasad, Visiting Professor at Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Archana Prasad is Professor at the Centre for Informal Sector and Labour Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. She specialises in research on the contemporary history of adivasi livelihoods, labour and resistance, women and labour, environmental and labour history. Some of her books are Gender in Agrarian Transitions (2024), Red Flag of the Warlis: History of an Ongoing Struggle (2017), Environmentalism and the Left (2005), Against Ecological Romanticism (2003 and 2011) and others. She is the National Joint Secretary of the All India Democratic Women’s Association. She is currently conducting research on the history of socialist feminism in SA.
