The African Centre for the Study of the United States (ACSUS) and the Center for Global Africa (CGA) are excited to host an extraordinary cultural forum.

This event will feature Robert “Kool” Bell, founder of the iconic Kool and the Gang, alongside:

  • Professor Ezrah Aharone, Founder and Executive Director, Center for Global Africa, Delaware State University
  • Dr Bob Wekesa, Director, ACSUS

Moderated by Dr Asad el Malik, ACSUS Diaspora Project Manager, the forum will explore the transformative role of music, the arts, and the African diaspora in fostering cultural exchange and connection.

This unique gathering presents an invaluable opportunity for staff, students, and local artists to engage with global thought leaders and a music legend.

We encourage all staff to attend and share this information with their students. Don’t miss this incredible chance to participate in a dialogue on music, storytelling, and the power of the arts to shape identity and community.
