Adam has been obsessed with early-stage start-ups and innovation in the space of human-computer interaction and AI applied to healthcare. In this talk, Adam shares some stories relating to innovation in resource constrained environments. Adam will capture learnings on his adventures in innovation: from the cheap and nasty version of his first project of a surgery automation system which ultimately became a patent; the world first neurology livestream "Brainternet" project which captured the imagination of the world; turning a human brain into a wifi network; to building the largest private response network in the world (AURA); and solving the issue of medical laboratory error; among others.
