18th African Investigative Journalists’ Conference

Wits University hosts Africa's best journalists 

Over 40 African countries will be represented at the 18^th African Investigative Journalists’ Conference at Wits University About 350 journalists are expected at the event which will showcase great stories, discuss key issues, train in cutting-edge tools and technologies, and encourage cross-border collaboration. Among the themes to be addressed are artificial intelligence for newsrooms, digital forensic tools, safety for reporters and investigating the environment, health, finance and business, mining, migrancy and insurgencies.
