Wits has adopted a Mandatory Vaccination Policy (MVAX Policy) which states that all members of the University community will be required to vaccinate against Covid-19 in order to access the University’s premises, aside from those who have been granted Reasonable Accommodation (RA). Vaccinate by 1 March
Members of the Wits community will have until 1 March 2022 to get vaccinated and show proof of vaccination to enter all Wits precincts. Follow the steps below for staff and students, visitors and contractors, supplieon this site to find out what you need to do. Visitors will be required to present their Vaccination Certificate with QR code confirming vaccination status to enter all Wits campuses.
